What is Pyrex?

The word ‘Pyrex’ is used as a generic term for borosilicate glass that is resistant to heat, chemicals, and electricity. It is used to make chemical apparatus, industrial equipment, and ovenware. Be aware that even though your product is quality Pyrex glass it can be broken, chipped etc.  Before using your new toy, do inspect it for any nicks, chips or breaks.  If it has any of this DO NOT USE IT.

One of the advantages/attractions of having a glass toy is that once lubricated it will retain the qualities of lubrication.  Therefore it will be slippery when being handled. Ideal storage for your glass toy is wrapped in a soft cloth and placed in a safe place where it cannot be damaged.

Cleaning Instructions

Glass is non porous and hypoallergenic which means that it is easier to clean and disinfect than other materials. This is another advantage in owning a glass toy over other products.
 
Glass dildos can be cleaned by boiling, cleaning with diluted bleach or with a standard disinfectant.  You can also wash your toy with antibacterial soap and warm water, before and after each use.  Some web sites even suggest you can clean your toy in the dishwasher-we leave that choice up to you!

• When heating your dildo, place it in, or under, hot running tap water for several minutes. Take care not to over-heat your toy as hot glass can burn.
   
• To cool a glass dildo you submerge the glass completely in ice water for a short time. Do not freeze the glass, as this could cause it to stick to your skin on contact.
